Andrej Kirn leads the World Economic Forum’s humanitarian efforts, which brings together leaders from across sectors to build a common understanding around the challenges and opportunities that will disrupt the humanitarian system. This includes co-managing the Global Future Council on the Humanitarian System and coordinating the humanitarian programme at the Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters and at other Forum events. As part of the International Organisations team and a Global Leadership Fellow, Andrej develops relations between the Forum and International Organisations from the humanitarian, development and security field. Prior to joining the Forum, Andrej worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia and the European External Action Service. He holds an M.A. in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe and a B.A. in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
